Application Example Rear Contact Solar Cells

For plating through front sides of solar cells, several 10,000 holes with a diameter of approx. 30 µm are drilled into a cell in a grid pattern and filled with conductive material. The StarCut Disc 100 ICQ achieves extremely short processing times per one solar cell of 5-10 seconds . Ideal precondition for an inline integration of plating through procedures into the production process.
