Rofins IC Markers generate characters at sizes precisely in accordance with the user's requirements. With line widths adjustable from less than 40 to more than 200 micrometers, accurate characters are generated even at highest marking speeds. Precise beam power control and fast laser pulse repetition rates result in high-contrast marking at minimum and steadily controlled material penetration depths of less than 25 micrometers. Integrated circuit packages employing materials such as resin, epoxy or ceramics can be processed with reliable and predictable results. The use of green laser light instead of the invisible infrared light is essential when marking directly on silicon either in black or in white.
