Beam Sources for Ultra-Fine Cutting

All StarCut laser sources (18 and 150 W) feature an optimized resonator design and achieve pulse frequencies of up to 4.000 Hz with highest pulse to pulse stability.

These features make them ideal for cutting almost all metal materials like alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, precious metals, shape memory alloys and titanium. Even finest kerfs, e. g. of 18 microns width in 0.1 mm stainless steel, are no problem. Intensity allocation and pulse forming of the laser beam can be adjusted easily to the application. The high performance control unit adapts the laser output power within a few microseconds optimally to the present travel speed.
