Marking by modifying the material color, annealing on metal, carbonization or foaming in polymers provide corrosion-free marking without creating burrs or debris or inserting any filler materials.
There are almost no technical limits to the marking outline and content, whether it is marking implants, medical devices or surgical instruments with data matrix codes to ensure traceability. Even micro markings with character heights of some 10 µm are possible. Individualization is easy due to the flexible computer control of the complete process, and on-the-fly marking can be carried out even on fast-moving workpieces.
